About Us

The Idea

FLETEC was born from the innovative vision of Martin Schöler. As head of global Maintenance and Repair (M&R) operations at Maersk and Hamburg Süd, Martin witnessed firsthand the inefficiencies and manual processes that challenge the industry. Driving AI and automation projects since 2015, finally sparked the idea for FLETEC, a business dedicated to activate AI technology in the maritime and logistics sector streamlining operations, automating repetitive tasks, and empowering business to operate more efficiently.

Starting the business

In 2020, FLETEC was launched by Martin Schöler, Tim Böger and Klaus Schröder - three visionary founders with exceptional expertise in diverse fields necessary to build and run a data-driven company.

Martin brought 20 years of invaluable experience in container maintenance and repair, having led operations at industry giants like Maersk and Hamburg Süd. His deep business knowledge and extensive network was the foundation for FLETEC.

Tim contributed over two decades of hands-on experience managing his own data-driven company, ensuring a strategic edge in business intelligence.

Klaus, with over 20 years of experience in different IT roles and projects, provided unparallel technical expertise. His ability to design and implement a modern tech stack ensured FLETEC’s technological backbone to become efficient and scalable.

After 12 months, the founders, supported by their growing team, turned their vision into reality launching the first FLETEC functionality. A short time later, the company won its first customer. Remarkably, every customer since then has remained loyal to the company, cementing FLETEC's reputation as a reliable and outstanding automation partner.

More visions to come

Logistic processes remain highly manual, with data siloed across disconnected systems. The adoption of AI to support and automate processes is just at the beginning. At FLETEC, we have a clear vision to expand our digital solutions across further business areas. Using M&R data as a foundation we see immense potential to enhance and streamline many interconnected processes. Adding new functionalities, activating untapped data, and establishing new connections between datasets are our motivation to deliver increasing value and efficiency to our customers.
